Across Wivey and The Hills we take safeguarding seriously and are fully-committed to establishing a safe environment for all.
The care and protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of the whole Church. Everyone who participates in the life of the Church has a role to play in promoting a Safer Church for all.
Each of our churches has its own dedicated safeguarding policy, which is reviewed and updated annually. Our policies are based on the model and advice set by our diocese of Bath and Wells. For the policy for St Andrews church see below.
