As you head for the hills for about 3.5 miles from Wiveliscombe via Langley Marsh, you will find Huish. A lovely village, said to be 800 feet above sea level. Situated at the foot of the Brendon Hills, surrounded by beautiful countryside. At the heart of the community, you will find the church of St Peter.
The building is a surprisingly versatile space. It can easily be adapted to accommodate different occasions and events. We now have under pew heating and a sound system, which enhances the use of the building. Having 100 folding chairs and along with the pews, can comfortably seat 170 people for weddings and other large services.
We hold various functions such as lunches, concerts, art exhibitions, coffee & cake mornings, Christmas fairs and more !
