Dear Friends across the Deanery,
A few of us have had an idea I’d like to share with you so that you can pass it on to your congregations.
Next Sunday 5th April is Palm Sunday so between now and then, it would be wonderful if as many people as possible made or printed a picture/painting/3D model/image of a donkey and/or palm leaves and place them in your window so that as people do their ‘one exercise a day’ they may stop and think ‘why are there so many donkeys in the windows!’
I know many of us had real donkeys lined up to be part of our services next week – of course that can’t happen. But let’s have some fun and play AND remind people Easter is happening, the story will still be retold, even though the church is dispersed.
