Readers are lay ministers, called by God, trained and licensed by the Church to preach, teach, lead worship and assist in pastoral, evangelistic and liturgical work.

I am Norwegian by both birth and upbringing, but I have lived and worked in this country for nearly 50 years. My working life was spent in the Health Service as an occupational therapist and manager for nearly 40 years. I am widowed, but enjoy a large and extended family, and since my retirement I am able to spend more time with the Norwegian side of the family. Adam Green

I’ve served as a Reader in four places around the country since 1979 and I’ve greatly enjoyed returning to work in Wiveliscombe and the Hills parishes in 2015. I’ve retired from a career in archives and now do voluntary work with Victim Support and IT support for the isolated rural elderly. Sailing, walking, choral singing and astronomy are current leisure interests.
