Christmas Services and Events 2019: Around the Benefice

St Andrew’s Christmas services and events:

  • Sunday 15th Dec at 10:45 am: “Celebrate Christmas” for the young-at-heart of all ages
  • Friday 20th Dec at 6:00 pm at Pitt Farm, Grant’s Lane: a Living Nativity
  • Monday 23rd Dec. at 7:30 pm: A Christmas Concert by the Wivey Town Band and Community Choir, including a special premier performance of “The Wise Man Time Forgot” – plus carols to sing (Free entry: seasonal refreshments provided: donations welcome.)
  • Tuesday 24th Dec at 4 pm: The Christingle and blessing of the Crib
  • Tuesday 24th Dec at 11:30 pm: The First Communion of Christmas (“Midnight Mass”)
  • Wednesday 25th Dec at 9:15 am: Holy Communion
  • Wednesday 25th Dec at 10 am: Short Christmas Family Service
  • Sunday 29th Dec at 10:45 am: Benefice Communion (all churches together, no services in the hills)

Wivey Evangelical Congregational Church Christmas services:

  • Thursday 19th Dec at 7 pm: Carol Service with the Community Choir, followed by mulled wine and mince pies
  • Wednesday 25th Dec at 10:30 am: Family Service

St Peters Huish Champflower, 11.30 pm: Midnight Communion
