Commissioning of our new Rector!

Some exciting news – our new Rector Martin Walker will be commissioned by The Bishop of Bath and Wells Peter Hancock on the evening of Monday 3rd September! The commissioning service will involve Martin and his wife Pamela, representatives from all of the churches in the benefice and the local community and it will take place in St. Andrews church. Two upcoming events in May 2018 around the Benefice

We’d like to draw your attention to 2 events that are coming up in May in the Benefice. First of all St Luke’s Church in Langley Marsh has a coffee morning on Thursday 10th May from 10.30-12pm. Soup Sunday Lunches are back – and this time in aid of some goats…

To be held at St Andrews Church from 12 noon on the first Sunday of each month, after the Sunday Service. Initially on Sunday 6th May, but with more dates in the pipeline! Back by popular demand and with a new purpose, Soup Sundays will be offering scrummy home made soups, crusty bread, for an extended time of hospitality, whilst raising money…

Palm Sunday Procession

Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.  And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
